[00:00:55] Speaker C: You're welcome. [00:00:57] Speaker B: Let's jump right in. Ms. Drummond, what inspired you to sing? [00:01:01] Speaker E: Well, I always loved singing. I love listening to the radio growing up all the time. I just. I have some people in my family that sing very well. I grew up in the church, so therefore, you know, I would love to sing. You know, I used to sing on the choir. [00:01:20] Speaker C: So what's your favorite song right now? [00:01:26] Speaker E: Oh, what is my favorite song right now? Now? [00:01:29] Speaker C: Yeah. Hard. [00:01:31] Speaker E: I'm gonna say. You know, I happen to like songs more so in the 80s. Okay. I like songs like from Whitney Houston. Have you ever heard of Whitney Houston? [00:01:59] Speaker D: How did you start singing where. Where you always sing when you were a kid? [00:02:07] Speaker E: Well, like I said, you know, I would be in the church choir and just singing around the house. Just, you know, my mom always loved singing around the house, and we would just sing a lot of songs, you know, and music was always playing in my home. [00:02:24] Speaker B: Okay, here's a good one. Do you have any tips for people who want to be a better singer? [00:02:30] Speaker E: Well, just like anything else, you have to practice, right? Whatever you want to do in life, you gotta try very hard, keep at your craft, whatever you decide to do. So if you want to be a singer, you know, sing the songs around the home. Around your home. And just, you know, enjoy yourself when you sing. Because no matter what, if you think you can sing, you can sing. [00:02:59] Speaker C: All right, time for our special game.
